In view of the
outbreak of a Coronavirus virus, from 18 March 2020 to 30 June 2020 Canada
imposed a number of travel limits for foreign citizens traveling within Canada.
As a result of the
pandemic, many changes and improvements are being made to Canadian immigration
practices and policies. Every feasible effort to combat COVID-19 is also being
taken by the government of Canada to ensure the well-being and health of Canadians.
Due to pandemic, Canada
have suspended the non-essential visa applications in Canada. This enables the
tools to be given to Immigrants, Refugees and Citizenship Canada based on vital
services.
This suspension
also extends to all applications for electronic permits for travel (eTA).
The visas and
e-Applications will be continued by those allowed to fly to Canada. It also
includes all of foreign workers' temporary applications concentrating on some
of the critical facilities, such as medical and food facilities.
Until the autumn
study season, student permits are given. IRCC would continue to process the
applications to any extent possible. Study permit applications include
biometrics, and many visa applications are refused for this service.
COVID-19 offers applicants,
in addition to the standard 30 days, 90 days to submit biometrics. It should be
remembered that on or before 18 March 2020, only students who have a valid
license to study or who are permitted to travel to Canada.
Canadian Immigration Procedures Applications
Anyone wishing to
move to Canada can continue to apply its express registration profile and meet
the requirements of Canadian PR visas. Furthermore, the IRCC has indicated it
is scheduled for the federal Express entry every two weeks. The IRCC has
already conducted two draws over the last few days, and has invited some 4,000
permanently resident Canadian applicants. Moreover, there are, as usual, still
draws by Provincial Nominated Programs (PNPs) that suggest that COVID-19 has
little impact on Canada's migration plans.
Canadian
immigration procedures applications are processed in a variety of categories.
It will, however, give the applicants more time to submit the required papers,
i.e. ninety more days in this manner. However, you have to also submit the
letter explaining the reason for the delay, when you submit your application. connect with us for best Immigration Consultancy Services
